The Watched Field

The Berlin and the Cretan issues of KAM workshops 2012 examine the conditions of police and prison as major references of architecture today.

The schematic mapping constitutes the character of a field that may be understood as controlled in an oppressive way. The person trapped into the area cannot easily get off this schematic representation. A controlled area imposes its rules on representation and on the terms that organize this representation.
